I'm guessing the advertised 2000lb payload capacity will only be available on the pro with short range battery. do we know the weights of the batteries? what is the expected hit on payload with a higher end model with heavy items like extended range battery and moonroof?

The information is out there somewhere, the payload hit from the giant moonroof is likely identical to the ICE truck, although with different GAWRs.

It will be interesting to see how the weight of the motor/transaxle and IRS compares with the live axle of the conventional truck.

Don't expect any real numbers until production trucks start hitting dealer lots and the stickers are out. Even with the ICE builds, it's only an educated guess until the sticker goes on the truck in the factory.

when was this said? All I've seen is "available 2000lb payload" which would mean the lightest truck. ie the short range pro.

If the platinum is up to 1500, anything under platinum will likely be more than that.

It better be more than my minivan, which is 1340 lbs. Hoping for something like 1800 or better on something like an XLT (ish)
