Just in the last 2 years we were able to utilize Manufacture Mobile service on our Ford Lightning and our Tesla's. This has been a game changer for us not to have to drive the the dealership and waste the better part of the day.

Ford came out and picked up our Lightning and delivered a brand new Explorer as a loner. The next day they delivered our repaired Lightning and picked up the loaner, no charge.

Next Ford came out to diagnose the door keypad not responding. A few days later they came out and replaced the keypad in our driveway.

Telsa has come to the house on several occasions. Once to replace a taillight that had moisture in it. I placed the service request on their app. The requested pictures and 2 days later they arrived at the house with the new taillight and replaced it in our driveway.

Tesla has on several occasions come to our house and rotated the tires on our Model Y's. Today they showed up with a Cyber Truck service vehicle. The rep inspected tires and measured the tread. He offered to either rotate at a cost or for no cost he would reset the maintenance reminder for another 7,000 miles, air the tires and not rotate. After measuring the tires he said rotation wasn't needed because they were wearing very evenly. I elected to not rotate at this time. He then took out his air compressor and aired up all the tires. I got an invoice for $0.00 for this service.

Very nice! I like the mobile service options. I haven't used the actual in-driveway service, but have used the pick up and drop off before.

My in-laws have a Lincoln Corsair PHEV and it had a recall that was software related. They came out and did the recall and a few other updates and were on their way. It's nice for sure, especially for them as they have just a single vehicle right now.

I've had Ford's mobile service twice in a month. Both times they were attempting to sort out why my Frunk stopped working. The 2nd guy was admittedly more competent than the first and suggested that the left lift motor was bad, so he ordered BOTH lift motors, which he thinks he can also replace in the parking lot of my work! If those don't fix it, he mumbled something about "replacing the module"... My response, "What the frunk are you talking about?". He laughed, and left.

Honestly, they have no idea how much these interactions make/break me for Ford. I hope they fix all of this stuff. My track record with Ford reliability has been fair at best.
