I suppose that most folks won't be carrying a TOASTER, a COFFEE MAKER, a HEATER, a FAN, and a MICROWAVE around in the bed, like I do, but it's good to know that all can work, and maybe all at the SAME TIME, if needed... interesting find.
I also like that the 'reset' of a breaker is as simple as pressing the little 'fuse reset' right above the outlets, giving the outlets immediate power, again. No need to go into the truck's screen, etc.
Also, as some others have asked, even if ProPower Onboard is not 'ON', as normally set onscreen, if the truck is ON, you can simply press the GREEN button above the outlets to START/Activate ProPower for the bed, or you can also do this within the FRUNK. It's just a nice easy method to not have to jump back into the truck and mess with the 'screen' to do something like this, on the fly...

I used the rear BED's ProPower outlets just yesterday to power my 120v DRILL to remove/add screws for new updates to my business SIGNAGE around town... worked great. I even made some coffee, and toasted a bagel, while working from the tailgate in the 'chilly' morning timeframe... love it!

TESTED: and success...
REAR Bed outlets, while '20amp', actually carry up to the 30amp Max, each.
Interesting ... I wonder if the 120V outlets have 10 awg (i.e. 30A) wiring to the inverter.

I would only suspect that they DO, since the wiring scheme by Ford/supplier(s) obviously would be, or should be, aware that there is the option of the outlets being used for 'more' than 20amps, even if the user/owner wasn't necessarily 'aware' that they were, just like in my testing scenario.... someone runs a heater, another is added, then someone toasts a bagel!

It's just like at home, where there is no 'restriction' on how many things you can plug into a wall outlet, with a multi-extension device or cord... and no restriction of how many watts/amps are being asked for it to provide... the only 'protection' is the breaker, which is designed to protect the WIRING from being overheated. The breaker corresponds to the awg of the wiring, or should. If Ford has knowledgeable engineers, I'm sure that a 3,600watt circuit, which is 30amps at 120volts, is designed and wired to HANDLE that amperage.

Some will also say that normal outlets, like those throughout the truck, are not even designed for 20amps, since they are typically called '15 amp outlets', but many outlets are built to be beefier and able to handle higher amps, we just don't see them too often. I suspect these are those.

I guess the takeaway is if 3 or more LT’s show up on the beach.. that’s Lightning Rave power.
