Needed Mod. Fix the dirt catcher in the fender in front of the front door

Anyone know if this has been fixed on the Lightening?
I had this item as an add on to another thread. Separating it here.
<Begin rant: I swore I was never buying another Ford truck until the “auto wipers” pumped water on the windshield before making a wipe. Finally with the new body styles it’s there so I bought a ‘20 F250 SD limited.
Now fix the body. Why would anyone buy a $100k unfinished vehicle. Does anyone know if this is fixed? Here are pictures from my personal trucks from newest to oldest. End rant>
‘20 F250 SD Limited (more than an index finger deep)
‘16 F250 SD Lariat (pardon the cow manure on the running board) yes that’s gravel
‘99 F350 V10 Lariat
‘84 F250 300 IL6 XL 2 Tone

The oldest truck has “about” the best solution. I am glad we live in the arid south. I can’t imagine what salt does to those caverns. I also have an ‘08 Tundra limited which at least has a plastic cover keeping the dirt, gravel, and small animals out.

Anyone notice if this is fixed on the Lightening.

Our 21 powerboost Platinum Screw has that area filled with plastic fiber sound deadening? Know idea what it's for, but that area is full on ours.

Glad to hear they’ve done something about it. For trucks that have never left concrete the worst problem caused by this open space is corrosion and rat nests. For trucks that live in the dirt and work for a living and you are an owner who likes nice things and keeps them nice, it’s a pain in the ass, fingers, knuckles, wrists trying to get all the crap out. Then throw in some cactus, mesquite thorns and a fire ant nest and it’s not a weird thing to worry about. It’s poor design.
