24U14 Audio Control Module: New Recall?

I dont see any recalls listed for my truck however the Ford Advisor texted me that there is an active recall. Its called the 24U14 Audio Control Module ACM Software Update. Has anyone done this?

Not technically a recall but an Update Prior to Sale.
Currently it is only for unsold vehicles, no letters will be mailed.

REASON FOR THIS PROGRAM
The vehicles involved in this program may experience a loss of audio and an “Audio off” message
displayed on the SYNC screen. This condition may be accompanied by Diagnostic Trouble Codes
(DTCs) U1A00-87 and/or U0184-00. Backup and warning chimes will continue to function normally.

Thanks for sharing this. I just spoke to the dealership and they are looking to see if it can be done by a mobile mechanic.

The tech bulletin I attached shows it's a simple FDRS module update, less than 1/2 hour labor. Perfect for Mobile Tech.

Note the ACM module has been notorious for not updating in FDRS - it remains on the list after updating for many of us.
