Only way to get the toggle is forscan. WAL is enabled by default after updating the BCM.

Dealer performed the 24P24 update (at my home) during my 20k mile service appt. Does this update include the necessary BCM update to toggle WAL via Forscan?

According to post 4, this just updates the FHCM.

Never got the OTA, never got the notice but tech just showed me it is on Ford list for my VIN but he refused to fix it on the mobile call for another CSP and said I had to bring it in. Did you get this OTA update?

I never received the OTA for this either, my Frunk has not had any issues.

My Frunk has just started acting up in the last few days. It stops unexpectedly or closes but dose t latch completely.

Hope it was just a fluke because it’s on my dime now.

Mine has not had any issues either. Only a few times when I made the truck think about two things at the same time and frunk got confused. Now I just let it finish one thing before I tell it to do something else. But my warranty is going to be over in 4 months so I want to get as many thing done as I can. There are a ton of modules that are behind on updates. The tech said if they do it, it would be around $2K for their time. I was not planning to get into updating stuff myself but for $2K, I may consider it.

Everything has been working great. At this point I am more afraid an update or a tech screwing something up than I am afraid of not getting an update. I am seriously considering breaking the the connection to the mother-ship after warranty unless I see an OTA that is a major safety issue.

Updated mine the other day with FDRS, I don't remember what it said the reason was if it mentioned it, I don't recall, only remember saying update was available. Wasn't having any issues with the frunk and haven't noticed any changes after the update. Who knows.
