Video doesn’t even show the worst but is this a normal amount of lag on the sync 4a system? ‘23 Lariat ER 511a.
I mean, I didn’t expect iPad Pro level of smoothness (even though it’s an 80k vehicle and SHOULD be like that) but this is 5 year old budget Android tablet bad

Thats normal.

You get more lag when using AA or ac.

looks normal to me. I dont think any OEM (other than Tesla) invests in a decent GPU for their screens. Even $130k+ Mercedes, Audis and BMWs have a similar laggy screen.

if you use car play, the rendering of the graphics uses the phone's GPU, and the wireless interface just broadcasts the signal. So carplay should feel much snapier than the native interface.

If you're using wireless Carplay/AA you get a lot of extra wireless lag. Switch to using USB and you should see some improvement. Disclaimer: I don't have my F150 yet, this experience is based on my MME.
That’s interesting observation. I’ll give it a try. Seems strange that that would clog the rest of the system but these have such low end hardware that I guess it makes sense.

So, I was watching this video on YouTube and I’m amazed by how the interface is SO MUCH SMOOTHER than mine. I’m wondering why that is. It’s so frustrating that my new truck feels like it has old buggy software.
