OEM Kicker Subwoofer

I don’t have FDRS.
There are many posts with people successfully installing the kicker with an ICE-150 using forscan.
It appears that that ACM values may be different in the lightning compared to the ICE.

I was able to get the subwoofer activated by changing 727-01-01-xxxx-x*xxx
To a 2 from a 0.
However the subwoofer is getting the full range of audio now…. It sounds terrible because of that…..
Ugh more research is required.
worst case I’ll install a low pass filter.

it might be worth it to have a dealer install this subwoofer…..
may get a quote for just the FDRS install.

If you have a windows computer, it may be cheaper to purchase a Mongoose OBD adapter (https://a.co/d/aGWGXJd) and a 2 day FDRS license. Then you have the added bonus of performing all of your updates ?

I had the OEM Kicker sub installed on my XLT ER (312A) at my dealer. Plug and play with my stock 6 speaker system and the sound is significantly different and better. My next upgrade will be the door speakers and column tweeters. I picked these up and will DIY when the weather gets nicer.

were you able to watch or see how they did the wiring? I bought the OEM kicker box as well. I'm just trying to figure out the final connection on the audio control module
