Rant #2 for the night.
I was at a super remote charging station this weekend. Didn't have cell phone coverage so Google Maps was useless. I fire up the onboard nav system, type in my destination and hit GO. I accidentally hit the button for "simulate route" or "simulate navigation" or whatever the prompt was. NEVER F*CKING TOUCH THIS BUTTON.
This feature will send your virtual vehicle through the entire route to your destination regardless of what button you push, how hard you yell at Alexa, how many times you cancel the route, how many times you restart the truck. Every single friggin time I tried to navigate to my destination, it would virtually restart itself where the virtual simulation left off. Even trying a new destination would start the route at the last place the "virtual" truck left off.
I can't explain in words how useless this feature is. I can only beg you never hit the "simulate route" button as I did.
@Ford Motor Company. This feature is not only useless, but harmful.
