Putco Upper Tailgate Lightbar

Just installed this upper tail gate Light-bar on my ‘23 Pro from Putco. Comes with plug and play tail light harness. Has programmable brake (strobe or non strobe), blinkers (standard, or sequencing).
Designed to have near OEM appearance. It’s a bit pricy, but will see how it holds up… so far, so good.

Those look good. I looked into them when they first came out but the price tag was too hefty for me.​

I’m still dreaming of the day that I meet the owner of an oxford white Lariat/Platinum that wants to trade my plain ole tailgate without the built in bed step for their taillights and tailgate.​

How did you wire the emblem light?

I tapped into the running lamp wire & ground wire in the taillight harness

I’d continue to dream. Ford has not yet perfected the rear light bar. We are getting water intrusion into the light bars that were replaced under warranty.

I installed the excalibur light bar like 2 weeks ago. So the wiring is different between the ICE F-150 taillights and the Lightning tailights. When I turned left, both lights in the lightbar would blink, and when I turned right, no lights would light up. So I contacted putco, and they were awesome enough to build me a harness for the Lightning. I just installed that today and it works perfectly now.

I was able to get it for $720 shipped w/ no tax from an aftermarket shop based in the midwest.

The pics and video make the light hues look pretty different, but in real life, they are much closer in hue. I am really happy with how it turned out. It really looks OEM. Only someone on this forum would know its not OEM.
