Anyone else have trouble getting your order in a timely fashion? Placed my order 2 weeks ago with no word until I decided to cancel because they're dragging their feet.

Crying shame for them really, I spent a few thousand with them on my last truck with no issue, was going to do the same with the new truck but not after this. Did they hire new management?

RealTruck is the largest truck accessory company in the world, owning almost every brand you can think of including AMP, ARE, BAK, BedRug, Extang, Gator, Go Rhino, Husky, Lund, Retrax, Rugged Liner, TonnoPro, TruXedo, and UnderCover. https://realtruck.com/brands/

They were acquired by L Catterton, a private equity firm, in December 2020. No change since then, but they have acquired brands since then, and perhaps that's the issue.

That explains it, Last time I spent money there was back in the teens with my other truck.

Now they're so big they carry forth the corporate attitude. To bad for them, I ordered a new tonneau Friday and have a tracking number this morning from a different company. I didn't buy it from real truck as I originally planned to do. Now they're dragging their feet refunding my money for a bed mat, they shouldn't have charged until the item ships like most everyone else does, no, they snapped that coin up quick.

And AutoAnything shutdown when they were bought by private equity from AutoZone in 2018, and then it went away in 2020.

I like my Extang Encore cover on my 2013, but they stopped making that. As my hauling crap days are mostly over, I got a Diamondback HD. To remove it would be a real pain, but it looks great and you can put lots of weight ON it and tie it down.

On the bed mat, I started with the Ford but it was poor quality. Ended up with a free Husky mat - a bit thinner, and lighter, but looks much better, with the purchase of two front Weatherbeaters. The mats cost less than the free bedmat sold for...

I ordered my bakflip direct from them and it came remarkably quick.. did you happen to inquire at all? Or did they just ghost you there too.

BAK is their company. There are products on their website that aren't their companies, they just dropship the order.

I ordered my BAK4 tonneau cover from them recently (last month or so). It came quickly but there was a broken plastic piece on one of the rails, and two of the small bumpers came off from the extreme heat that week (was probably even hotter in the shipping trucks).

I emailed them pictures and asked for a replacement plastic piece and bumpers; also asked for them to remind me where the bumpers went. Got an email saying they'd need to check with the manufacturer (themselves... they own BAK).

Over a week later and still no response. I emailed them 2-3 more times, finally asking if I should just RMA the thing.

Got an email the next day with an RMA number and really no other info. When I emailed again and asked about just getting the parts I was told they were shipping a completely new BAK and that I should just take the parts I needed and ship the rest back (not BAK... lol).

So ridiculous. The amount of money (labor, gas, shipping, etc.). They could have just had someone open a box, get the piece(s), and put it in a little padded envelope to send to me.

You should have contacted BAK directly.

When I bought my Extang Encore in 2013, it had issues. Fortunately, the world HQ of Realtruck is nearby, as well as the plant they made Extang covers in, so they had me drive over and swap out the covers.
