The comment that 1-pedal drive won’t get the most regen interests me. I use 1-pedal all the time. When I use it and come to a complete stop I get a message that I achieved 100% energy. However if I need to use some brake pedal the message always returns less than 100%. That would seem to conflict.
Small correction on the earlier numbers. I think the max power to the motors is 420 kW and 210 kW regen.

Test it.

From 70 mph, come to a complete stop with 1 pedal by taking your foot off the accelerator and watch your peak regen power. You don’t hit max regen power, 210 kW, or two major ticks.

Try again feathering the brake pedal and you’ll see the regen power increase closer to the 210 kW max scale.

Both cases produce a 100 % brake coach score. That just means you didn’t engage the brake pads. You can stop slightly faster, in a slightly shorter distance, and recover a tiny bit more energy feathering the brake pedal.

Ford should report the energy returned to the battery, in Wh, so you can better see the difference. (Though, you’ll be disappointed: An extra 30 kW of regen braking for 1s is a whole 8Wh, so it’s not that significant)
