Running board coming unglued?

My passenger side has come unglued and the dealer says they replace the running and note just the rubber piece. I think they should be replacing both sides since they will look mismatched, has anyone had to replace a running board?

Also the other side is unglued at the exact same spot but not pulling up yet.

Mine started to separate almost immediately back in 2022 and the dealer replaced both under warranty.

The edges of the rubber start coming up, high pressure car washes exacerbate the issue.

I'm not concerned, I'll reglue them when they peel, mine ain't no show pony.

Mine is a show pony for sure, only been in the dirt once just to get a drone video of it then straight to the car wash.

Had my running boards replaced for the same issue. Both sides had the issue, and they covered it under warranty no problem. I vaguely recall they said they came in pairs.

Had to have my passenger running board replaced at 36k miles. Did it right before my bumper to bumper warranty expired.

They are ordered separately, and they aren't going to change both sides if only one has a problem. They won't look mismatched. You can't see both at the same time.

Depends. If you don't do the preventative maintenance on the AMP boards, you'll have worse problems than a piece of plastic warping.

Boards that go up automatically are not for me, I like the look of running boards in the down position.

This is my third truck that I've installed amp research on and I never had any problems in the ice, snow and salt of Pennsylvania. I have not read that any maintenance was needed in the instructions. I just wash them when the truck gets washed.

I like them more for getting in and out easily, as for the looks I'm the opposite, I like a clean look.

I've had them on 2 trucks. After 3 or 4 years, if you dont lubricate the pivit pins, they will start to rust and bind with dirt. Especially if you live in a salt applying state. If you don't clean them out, the pins get pitted enough than you have to order new pins and take everything apart to replace them.

I loved my AMP steps. May still install a set. But they aren't without their issues.
