Walk Away Lock Missing Even After Update

I received the newest update that included Walk-Away lock, but when I go into settings > locks, there is no option there to turn it on or off. I'm not sure what to do.

There is a BCM update that will activate the feature and an OTA to the APIM that will provide toggles to manage it.

The update you received was likely the miss labeled one that said you got it but didn’t. Do a little re-Searching on here and you will find more details.

For a few months, I've had the WAL active when the dealer updated the BMC for the front sensor CSP with no toggle to turn it off. It worked with no honk, and I got the Fordpass message indicating that it locked. I got the update just last week for the APIM to provide the switch to turn it on/off and to provide the optional honk. Hopefully, it is on the path for OTA for others soon.

What was the number on that update? You may have received the controls before the WAL was activated.
