FordPass APP notification - Walk Away Lock

I remember that in the past I was getting a notification on my iphone when Walk Away Lock activated.

My PaaK and WAL hasn‘t worked for a while, until last week, when Ford Mobile tech figured out the BlueTooth antenna in the driver door had failed. The handle was replaced and now it’s working 100%.

But I am not receiving any notifications on my iPhone when Walk Away Lock is activated. Is there a setting I missed that I need to activate on the car, phone or APP?.

Does anyone know?

I know nothing about how the iOs works, but from the Android perspective if this is a problem for them here are the steps to confirm the app's basic notifications settings are correct.

If this solution path isn't possible in some fashion on iOs, then full uninstall & reinstall might remedy and mis-configurations that have crept in to your particular setup.

My notification section didn't have wal or paak. Makes me wonder if not having paak is the reason I don't have wal.

Yes, that would be the reason your configuration is missing those switches

That's good then, I don't trust automatic locking on my vehicles. I want to hear them lock myself. Wanted to make sure there wasn't a hidden switch keeping it on as I would have to turn it off.

I was able to enable WAL Notification by turning off and then turning Allow Notification back on.
