Check the date. This is a thread from the dead. Posted when it looked like an ER XLT might be had in the $60k range. I got my reservation money back a long time ago.

Why not keep it and use it as a 48A charger? It has a switch under the cover that sets the max charge rate. That makes it code compliant with your 60A circuit. That's what I plan to do.
That's my plan as current market price is $800 or even less. I feel that is really undervalued given its 80A charge power and bidirectional capability. Commercial 80A charger (no bidirectional) costs around $2500.

For net $700, I would rather keep it.
