I'll just put my portable powered cooler in the 2nd row with that seat section folded up. I don't usually have rear passengers, besides my dog. The unit would probably work more efficiently in the climate-controlled cab anyways. Easy access to the refreshments while driving. ;)

All the crap I would normally put there in the rear of the cab (for keeping dry and dust-free) for camping will just go into the Frunk.

Plan to test that next week!
Post some Pictures!
Beer is roughly 8 lbs a gallon. 10 12oz cans per gallon. 100 beers would be 80 lbs call it 100 lbs adding the cans. 30 lbs of ice should cool 100 cans. Thats 130 lbs way under the 400 lbs capacity!

Bumping this thread back up because i’m working on a project in the frunk and i needed to know the clearance. It depends quite a lot on the shape of the item that you need to fit but I did find that in the domed section the clearance is at least 16” at the highest point. I’ll probably try to get a better measurement but I hadn’t seen this in the thread.
Like the OP said, for a rectangular box that takes up most of the available space you’re probably limited to 13”, maybe 14”. If the item is shaped to fit in the domed section you may be able to get a few inches taller.

This one is bigger and also fits, I love it. Has an app that can be controlled from the cab (by a passenger of course).
