Thank you.
AI believe anything after 2.4.3 is early access only other than FDRS updates.I was on 2.3 for quite awhile, I got 2.4.3 last night. Once people get this far, are they experiencing subsequent updates daily until they get to 2.5.3 - or is it completely random?
I got 2.4.3 on March 1st, 2.4.4 on March 3rd, 2.4.5 on March 5th, and the first attempt at 2.5.1 on March 9th. It turns out I didn't have my parking brake set that evening (which is one of the preconditions for an update that that can't be done while the vehicle is being operated), so I didn't get a successful update until March 10th. I got 2.5.2 on March 11th which enabled Blue Cruise and 2.5.3 on March 14th which updated the Settings menu for Driver Assistance to match those for Job 2 trucks.I was on 2.3 for quite awhile, I got 2.4.3 last night. I am enrolled in Early Access (since Sept 2021), but have not heard any updates due to being in that program. I just logged into my dashboard there and it didn't provide any insight.AI believe anything after 2.4.3 is early access only other than FDRS updates.
Ok, well from what I have seen for early access they show up when they show up and when they do its hit or miss. Some have been stuck at 2.5.1 failing. This is a HUGE update. To put into perspective this update done through FDRS is 5-8 hours. There are as build changes made. So a lot can go wrong. I think a lot of the issue if fords stupidity of only doing 8GB in the gateway.I am enrolled in Early Access (since Sept 2021), but have not heard any updates due to being in that program. I had a post earlier in this thread that has the list of preconditions necessary. Make sure they are all met. My issue was I believe low battery voltage - updated after a long drive (three hours) and it finally went after being stuck for a week.I got the email a couple weeks ago and the upgrades were going smoothly. Unfortunately my latest update is failing - version 2.5.1. I've tried it 3 times now and twice I got a message in FordPass acknowledging that it failed. Message on the phone says there will be some instructions on the in-vehicle screen, but there isn't anything when I startup the truck.
@Jesse-Infotainment - is it possible to determine why my upgrade is failing? I'm wondering if I need to connect to my wifi network.
Edit - it just failed a 4th time![]()
I've seen other people mention seeing software update versions in their Fordpass app. I have both a F-150 PB and a Mach-E and cannot find software versions anywhere in the app for either of my vehicles. For those that received the 2.4.1 update a question. My Ford Pass App says I am on 2.4.1 as of February 21st, but when I check the update screen in the truck it says my last update was 2.3. I haven't received any updates since. Is having a different installation reported on the Ford Pass App than in the truck common?
Upper right corner of Ford Pass app. Click Account then scroll down To click message center. Should list all there for each of your vehicles. Unless you deleted them. Mine shows every one.I've seen other people mention seeing software update versions in their Fordpass app. I have both a F-150 PB and a Mach-E and cannot find software versions anywhere in the app for either of my vehicles.
Can you tell me where to look for this info?
Thanks,
Mike
Can you share what the recommended OTA update times were that were requested?I just received this email, with instructions to change the OTA update times. Anyone else go through this and have Bluecruise installed this way? I'm looking forward to getting it rolling.

Yeah, must be my tinfoil hat...I had sharing info with Ford turned off so I think that's why I'm not seeing any of the updates on either my F-150 or Mach-E in the messages section. I turned it back on in the truck but I'll have to go find that setting in the car and sort that out. Both were purchased with the BC hardware, but neither of them are remotely close to the software versions required. And they don't seem to be getting any closer. My truck is on 2.1.1 and I don't even know what the Mach-E is cause I can't tell.Upper right corner of Ford Pass app. Click Account then scroll down To click message center.
