I'm starting to buy into the chip hold stories. Problem with that, is Priority goes to the build line before the parked trucks when they come in stock. Good business, bad customer relations.

I honestly don't think its chip issue. I think ALL of the early built trucks had to be updated / have some parts replaced prior to shipping. My Fordpass had activation pending forever. Changed to Activate Vehicle, told ke its unavailable and right after it got released from plant.

Well as of June 6 my truck, "built" 5/18 is on CHIP hold - officially from Ford.

I called again this morning. Now i am told I am on a hold waiting for chip
Last week i was told my truck was built and there was no hold on any parts !

I'm on chip hold as well - I may have said that a few pages ago.

My ford pass app this afternoon did let me re-send the activation request. It is now pending. That's a change I guess. It had been instant failing saying wait for delivery to try again for weeks.

I checked a few other build weeks, a lot of comments on ford pass today.
mine had been stuck on try activating after you take delivery. So today it allowed me to get to activation pending Again. I had deleted and re added it a few weeks ago.

chip hold isn‘t great, but seeing how many have been delivered in later build weeks and shipping 4-5 weeks after our builds - that sucks for us.

I like your optimism about fordpass. I was upbeat when I saw mine change, but after reading all the changes in fordpass for other build weeks, not as hopeful, think it was a general system change on ford end.

Mine reset again yesterday as well. The last time it did that, was right around when the truck received Built status. Fingers crossed.

Still pending activation here after being allowed to send the request again a few days ago. Wonder if I should be more disappointed by talking to Ford chat today or waiting until tomorrow so I can be more disappointed over the weekend proper. lolol. Bugging them once a week seems fair to me...
