XLT ordered yesterday - Dealer accepted today

I was able to order a MY23 XLT yesterday and my dealer accepted the order today.

Is there a new back door?

Not that I know of. I received an invite the 1st part of September, when I logged in to order all that was available were the Lariat and the Platinum. I went back Sunday just to look and see what's going on with the XLT so I just clicked on build and I went through everything to the bottom. It asked for a deposit of $500 and I gave it to them. The dealer accepted my order yesterday, I checked it again in a few minutes ago and it's still looks good on my end.

Yes. You just click on the trim you wanted. Configure it and you can go through the order process. I ordered a pro today in wave 3

Congratulations, I’m still hoping I’ll be able to get a Pro or XLT whenever Ford decides to convert my first day reservation to an order invite. Did it give you any clues on ETA for your truck? Even something vague like “spring “ or “next year “?

. Congratulations that you were able to get an invite to order. I went by my dealership yesterday on 9/30/22, and the salesman I was dealing with told me that all the 2023 Ford Lightings at all trim levels are sold out. The only way I will be able to get a vehicle if someone backs out on their order. If they do have someone that backs out I would be looking at at least 10k over MSRP.

Nobody knows when ford will build an order. It is just like the invites. I reserved 4 hours after the reveal. Had to wait a year and a half. I wasn't going to order until I saw someone on reddit was able to order a pro. Then I just logged in quick, configured and sent the order in a quick as i could.

Post when you get a production week scheduled. I’m curious about when all these orders that were completed like that.
