This is another topic I thought I had read about before, but can't find in the search.
The short version is the dealership I selected to pick up my 2022 MY in August tried to charge me for extra things. One of them, wheel locks, I had already paid for. They tried telling me that every vehicle they sell has to have various options attached. After over 45 minutes of back and forth, they allowed me to buy the vehicle I ordered from Ford the way I had it configured and with no dealer add-ons. When they gave me the key, they said it only came with one. According to them, now that the vehicles can use the app as a key, Ford only ships one key. I initially believed them until I realized that I don't even have PAAK as an option on my build. So the dealership that tried charging me for options I had already paid for is who Ford is telling me I need to go back to in order to inquire about how many keys I should have received. See how this is working? To complicate things, I tried to save some settings as a MyKey. But because I don't have a second key, which the vehicle thinks I should have, I can't change any of the MyKey settings. Customer service is no help. 7 transfers to various departments and over an hour on the phone, only to be told to go back to the dealer who I think was trying to scam me into buying my own second key.
How many keys did you receive with your Lighting?
