No EV routing in Google maps

Can not get my EV routing to work in Google maps I have brand new pixel phone all up to date my truck does have the 10.1.1 update I went into Google maps settings it shows the truck in there does nothing strange part all mention of Google maps is no longer on fords website anyone else having issues?

Is your android auto up to date? When using AA select gmaps on the main screen and enter a destination, all the info should be there. Can you post a picture of your gmaps screen showing a destination?

Yes, my Google maps app is up to date and my phone is all up to date

Settings, apps, Android Auto, scroll down to version, mine is 14.3.6 but there's even newer ones.

Mine is a 24 I talked to ford customer service and they looked up my vin and she said that it should work she said it was in the 10.1.1 update that I got in March

Yeah @Ford Motor Company thinks it works with 10.1.1 but if you missed the one before (I think 10.1.0, the release in September\October 2024 that enabled it) it does not.

I'm hoping they figure it out soon and push an update to fix.

On most of the 24’s, Ford skipped over 10.0.1 and went right to 10.1.1. There is now an APIM module update for the 24’s that contains the updates you’re looking for but it isn’t going out OTA that I’m aware of. It shows up in FDRS for my VIN but I haven’t installed it yet.

Another thing, you basically have to have all permissions allowed in the trucks settings for it to work. Same with the phone and AA. If your privacy settings are set to anything like privacy on either, then won't work as they won't be able to communicate. And as stated above AA is not Google Maps. Make sure your permissions are correct for AA.

Did you tell Google Maps on your phone that you have an EV? I don’t know if it’s necessary, but try going into your Maps settings and set it so it knows which electric vehicle you have.
