Edit 9-15-25: Updated lists. Some conflicts with headers and updates that I am trying to iron out. The "trimmed" list appears to be working fully for me as of now.


As a long-time Torque app user (and fan), I’m starting a new thread to centralize and streamline the discussion around PID listings—especially for those of us using the app with Ford vehicles like the Lightning.


✅ Updated PID Spreadsheet

I’ve compiled and cleaned up the various PID listings available, combining them into a single, easy-to-use sheet:

Note: This includes the previous sheet shared by Firebase. While they haven’t been active on the forum for a while, the original document has been updated by others recently.



Major Changes & Improvements
  • Reformatted into Torque's preferred CSV import structure (Name, Short Name, ModeAndPID, etc.)
  • Leading "0" added to Lightning-specific PIDs so they appear at the top of Torque's PID list
  • Grouped and renamed similar PIDs for easier browsing (e.g., Charger..., HVB..., Tire Pressure LF, etc.)
  • Expanded short names (≤12 characters) and improved clarity
  • Added Header and Module info for most PIDs
  • Simplified or adjusted some equations
  • Standardized unit names
  • Refined some Min/Max values (e.g., changed Module Voltage from 0–50 to 0–5)
  • Included a few newer PIDs shared on the forum
  • Added some test PIDs (e.g., A/C Compressor 2)


⚠ Accuracy Note

Some PIDs appear to be unreliable or inaccurate. Use them with caution.
If you find any errors or anomalies, please report them in this thread so we can refine the list further.


Share Your Torque Pro Layouts

Torque Pro also supports importing/exporting dashboard layouts.
Feel free to post your screenshots or share your custom setups here—let’s help each other build better dashboards!



Current export (v10) in XLSX and CSV (change .txt to .csv) formats attached. It is recommended that users access the active Google Sheets document however as information may have been added since these files were attached.

On mobile use a browser to access the files to export the CSV, Google Drive app downloads a PDF.

Minor edits.
-Adjusted formulas for out of range values
-Removed entries with invalid and unchanging values
-Minor name and shortname tweaks
-Removed ABS calls for "G" force and wheel speed. It works if setting the header to "ABS" but appears to make other values unstable. Leaving header blank does not return values.

Google Sheets and attached files updated.

Took a quick screenshot while I'm topping up from the day's errands.
I think I grabbed these using the spreadsheet you referenced. I'm definitely missing some of what you have on the consolidated over. Great idea to give torque a dedicated thread. I'm also a pro user, I really like the customization available. I'm still playing with the arrangement and trying to rename for better clarity.

As a side note, how is 44A equate to 17kW power? I'm a little confused, maybe I have some things mistakenly labeled?

Good question.

A quick look and at a pack voltage of 379v, 44.6a equals 16.9kw. I think its all correct.

Not sure where the 43a fits in there though.

I'm guessing you are running a FCSP?

Oooohhhh, yeah I was using 240v for my math and didn't consider that the power to the battery would be at pack voltage. The -43 is current flow into/out of the battery. When I'm driving its a positive number which goes negative during braking. So it seems a neg number is power into the battery.

Can anyone here comment on TorquePro versus CarScanner. I have used CarScanner only and I'm wondering if there is any reason to try/switch to TorquePro

Both have their benefits.

Car Scanner comes out of the box with a better selection of PIDs. Display wise you have less flexibility and I find it more annoying to edit, although not by much.

Torque is slightly more flexible and let's you edit the PID list. It also has much much better logging, which is why I greatly prefer it.

We all know we can sniff some of this data off the OBD2 port one by one if needed, but that's way harder than getting it easily in digital form.

Good to know about car scanner, I had not looked hard enough.

Yes, you can add action buttons to torque. I can't tell you how, but I know you can.

Yes, I placed a custom ECU (any microprocessor with CAN txvr) programmed correctly on the HS1 bus of a Gen14 Ford Truck (a Lightning) and I programmed it to respond to extended PID requests at an address not used by Ford in their trucks. Once I got this working I started playing with Action PIDs which is just a standard PID request but with a different mode(8) than used for requesting extended PIDs (22). In this way full interactive dashboards can be created,,,, yes, similar to the native Sync4 setting screens.

Regarding your follow up please; yes, I can create dashboards with buttons to do things like toggle on and off features like pro power outlets, one pedal driving, drive modes, etc. The trick here is that I have to reverse engineer what messages cause these features to toggle, and then I have to program that messaging into my ECU to trigger when I send it the apprpriate action PID request. So, without a custom ECU on the inside of the gateway programmed to do so, CarScanner cannot do any of this :( Ford doesn't program any of it's modules to respond to Action PIDs from the OBD port, and if it did it wouldn't tell anyone.

Wow.. interesting.

I would love a quicky menu to take care of my pet peeves that Ford can't be bothered with (currently prewarming my battery for charging which the 2022 firmware omitted apparently), one press Pro Power, one press FM radio, etc.

Question: what settings do you currently use?

How well does your system work?

Would you have any interest in sharing the ins and outs of this project? I know its a pain in the ass, but maybe have AI write the bulk of it if you can feed it your notes?

Or at least a video explaining what you did and what you used to do it? Give us some inspiration?! lol
