Over what time period? The value for a single trip is mostly meaningless (due to variations in wind speed/direction, uphill/downhill, etc), that number is only reliable as an average over many trips. I use Trip 1 for tracking long term mileage, and I reset it every May 1 and Nov 1 in order to track summer/winter mileage. It's been very consistent for me over the the 2+ years I've been doing this -- I get 2.2 in the winter months and 2.4 in the summer months.

Side note: I really wish they would add another decimal point to this value.

I do this exact thing too....except I leave Trip 2 as the original "all time" figure, and reset the trip one April first and Oct 1st. My logic is that I usually start using the wood stove sometime in early October, and usually stop using it around mid March, so I figured April was a good point.

Interestingly, they are both at 34kw/100km right now. The Spring one was better by about 10% or so, but then I started towing, which has thrown off the spring/summer efficiency.

The original post is not about all time efficiency or comparing what you get for individual trip efficiency.
The whole point of the post is that the lightning driver display is not capable of displaying a trip efficiency of 2.6 miles/kWh. It will bounce between 2.5 and 2.7 but will never ever display 2.6. It must have something to do with how it is calculating the number and rounding it. I cannot remember but the main center screen might be able to show 2.6 on the efficiency app.

That is odd...

2.6 in hex (0002.0006) is an interrupt code in the risc version of the AMD processor Ford uses, so they avoid that display.

On my ‘22 Lariat, I get 2 to 2.2 in winter, 2.6 to over 3 in summer. It is our daily driver and we’re about 25 miles from town, so lot of 50 to 60 mph on country roads involved. GREAT vehicle, now I just wished someone would make a smaller ev truck (loved my 2018 Ridgeline, snow, ice, …no issues).

Rivian R1 or new R2?
Ford may bring the E-Ranger to N.America one day... or the Slate Truck ?
Who knows, maybe Honda will launch a PHEV Ridgline in a few years.
Or we will see the BYD Shark ... lots of options in the works just a matter of time.

With the warmer weather comes better mileage for want of a better term. I can get 2.5, 2.7 and even 2.9 but never 2.6 or 2.8. I thought last year that those were attainable. Anyone else notice this?
I''ve seen 2.8 multiple times. I've not seen 2.6. It jumps from 2.5 to 2.7 and then back down to 2.5. No 2.6. That said, I have seen 3.6.
