Thanks again y’all- its 3 x 1500W outdoor infrared heater- the manufacturer advises:
”Heat Storm heaters are
designed to plug directly into a grounded 110-volt
15 amp or higher circuit receptacle (outlet).
However, if you have to use an extension cord,
the cord should be No. 14 AWG minimum size
and rated not less than 1875 watts. The extension cord should be a 3-wire cord with a grounding type cord and plug connector.“
please tell me if this is dumb/inadvisable with the gear y’all recommended. ty all again
