The 76 F100 was awesome. It was a 3 on the tree, which I didn't even know how to drive when I arrived for the test ride! lolPending on the engine options with those years, you may have had some really reliable trucks.
It needed a valve cover and manifold gasket when I got it, but otherwise was amazing. Rear wheel drive on a longbed in Wisconsin winters (and a clogged heater core) made me sell it to get the Ram w/ 4x4. That truck had some weird engine issues early, but otherwise good. The GMC was part of the early years where they decided they could shut down 4 of the 8 cylinders once you were at highway speeds. Unfortunately, they decided to shut down the SAME 4 cyl every time. Not good.
