Not really concerned as much about the GOM, as to the discrepancy between the app, and console.Battery temperature, I believe, is the most common culprit but when each one updates relative to the other is also a possibility. It's one of the reasons it's commonly referred to as a GUESSometer. It's not worth worrying about.
I just compare the GOM to my distance remaining to my charger or destination. I find that it settles to a fairly accurate number and then I leave 20 mi or so to allow at least 1 chance at a different charger.
That was it.Make sure you do a "pull-down" refresh request on the Ford-App before making comparisons, the photo of Ford app might have a value from last night when it was colder out than when you got into the truck at 55°
If you look at the "location" map in the app, it'll tell you the time elapsed since the last app refresh, that impacts the GOM value, especially when seeing extreme temperature swings.
