Sorry for the slow reply on this one! I was provided some intel on what we will have, and I'm waiting on final confirmation before I share what will be/is approved.
It has been more than a month. Remaining supply is dwindling. Is this happening, or not? I do not fault you personally for any of this of course, but this is exactly how brands lose customers. Offers were promised several months ago, and empty promises do more damage than is probably rational.

Offer is only applicable to remaining Black Pro ER in inventory...

I'm guessing sales is moving along at a decent enough rate to where any type of offer isn't needed.
Besides, where do you draw the line, who is an early adopter? First 1000 trucks, 22s, lease only... easier just to say no, or in this case, the silent treatment.

All understood, but then don't go promising anything to begin with, all I'm saying. I never would have even brought it up if Ford wasn't the one to offer/promise.

There is some $5500 "Special Owner Loyalty Program" cash rebate right now but I have been unable to find any information on it, nor has the one dealer I reached out to regarding it sent me anything but another ipacket spam message.

All good. I'd upgrade if it was convenient but pretty damn happy to be sitting where I am.

I guess my google machine didn't want to cooperate lol, thanks for sending that over. Wasn't sure if that was a separate lightning specific rebate.

I was hoping they would throw in another $20k rebate for x-plan owners like they had last summer as I have my eyes on 2 Space White Platinums but I'd rather not spend $70k.

I knew they would wait until there was an inadequate supply left, and then do nothing. Corporate profits surpass the need to retain already pissed off Lightning owners.

The mistake was promising to begin with. Yet another broken promise.

I am SO SORRY. I posted this in another thread and should have cross-posted. That's on me. Doing my best to juggle the forums, help folks out, and keep my "other day job" moving along.

First off, thank you for your patience. I know I promised to get some answers for you all, and I appreciate you giving me the time to track down the facts. Here is what I was able to confirm.

If you are currently leasing a Lightning, you have a few paths forward. Customers with a new Ford vehicle order placed prior to their lease termination date are eligible to extend their lease. For these customers with an order, Ford will extend the lease until the ordered vehicle is delivered to the dealer/customer.

We also have a series of unique programs for F-150 Lightning customers to lease another F-150 Lightning while supplies last, or shift into another Ford vehicle. Your local Ford dealer will have more information on current offers.

Let me know if you have other specific questions and I will do my best to hunt down the answers.

Still here and still listening, Brian (not AI) from Ford

Thank you, but "go talk to the dealer" isn't really wanted to hear. Nothing concrete from Ford themselves is disappointing, and my local dealers don't have any Lariats left anyway, so it's a moot point.

Coupled with 90% will say "my system doesn't show any unique offers for Lightning owners. Who told you that?" And then you say "Ford rep on forum" to which they reply "don't know him. Sorry, no special offers. Would you like to buy a gas F-150?"

CUSTOMER [insert picture of burning bridge here] FORD

I had/have no intention of buying a new Lightning, but when I saw Ford say they would have special offers for current lessees and owners, I knew that would never materialized, or it would and then they'd say "sorry there are so few left".

We (Lightning early adopters) were interesting until they changed direction and cancelled everything. Now they know that most Lightning buyers aren't going to buy the $30,000 truck, and the EREV is years away, so many will be gone. So, move on to the next shiny object.

It's pretty criminal, because we were in line to add an 3rd row / Explorer EV, followed by the T3. Now we're looking elsewhere for the Mach-E replacement (Toyota Highlander EV maybe), and will probably replace the Lightning with a Rivian if they survive. Ford cycled nearly $200k from us between July 2021 and May 2023, and that's dropping to zero.

Also, my mail carrier said "why do you get recall notices all the time" and I showed him my Ford teeshirt.

Bummer, was hoping to extend my lease without having a new vehicle on order.
