Thought I'd share my latest purchase since it's electric too. It's bit less HP (160??) than the Lightning... I'll get it on the water tomorrow.
How do you plan on recharging it during the day, needs fast charger?

Looks like with Pro Power on the Lightning, you can charge the Taiga Orca.
Win,win!

Not fast...

It has a 120kW battery. Fast charging it would be under 30 min. Level 2, from the truck would be 120 / (30*.9)= 4.44 hours.

Says 2 hours of "play time". So you use it for 2 hours, then put it on a trailer and drive to a fast charger if you want to use it again sooner than 4.5 hours...

I see people using a jet ski all day long with numerous gas fills.

Your math is a bit off if it’s 120kw. You can get max 30A@240v or 7.2kw out of the pro power. You can run that at full speed and don’t need the 80% rule. So with the ford charger you could get 30amp since Ineldive it can be set to that, but most others might need to be set to 24amp since 30 is a weird number and you would usually jump from 24 to 32 on most portable chargers that are adjustable.

so that being said, 120kw @ 7.2kw is 16.5 hours at 100% efficiency. Or if you need to dial back to 24amp that would take 21.5 hours. So a once a day usage at best!

still cool concept though, but really shows how inefficient boats are lowing through the water!
