You said that your uncle would drive to Detroit to get a Chrysler, so that’s not what happened with this lady you know. Additionally, there’s no telling what was slid in the deal that might or might not have been there if she would’ve gotten it from Germany. I’m sure the importation, inspection and other fees would’ve been part of this?Nothing like a big dose of negativity to get you though the day. Borrowing problems before they are an problem is a good way to ulcers. I know one lady personally that bought direct from VW and picked up her ID4 at her local dealer with no added $$$.
If you have the truth in lending on this feel free to upload it and I can take an L on this. It’s not negativity it’s just the reality of the situation. Dealers and manufacturers have proven that they’ll take a greater profit on fewer units than doing anything to benefit the customer.
