Motorcraft As-Built files require sign-in now (still free)

As @RickLightning just posted in another thread, it appears that you can no longer freely download your As-Built file off the Motorcraft site. I just checked myself and it requires a log-in now which cost $. Hope this is a glitch or I'm wrong.

EDIT: It has been been prompting for a sign-in off and on for me. When it does require a sign-in, I can still get the file for free if I sign-in, ignore the 'no subscription' message, then go back to the As-Built link, and it will work.

The Motorcraft site stores the current As-Built. It was updated almost instantly after an FDRS session or an OTA. After FORScan changes, it would not update immediately but would eventually when the truck phoned home.

The original As-Built has always been long gone on that site. You needed to download it right after purchase. Don't know if it's available to dealers or those with PTS.

EDIT: As of now it's back up!!

After getting to the "Please log in..." page that @Free Charging posted earlier, and after logging in (again), it takes me to an agreement page (clicked on "Agree") and then to a page that says "You do not currently have any subscriptions.."

After "logging in" I was able to retrieve my as built file.

BUT

When I tried to download it, then got a data expired page.

Second attempt, worked fine, I was able to download the .AB file, just DO NOT wait to long after initial response results come back.

Yep, I am seeing the same thing. When I first go to the As-Built site (link), I get the Sign-in required screen (see post 5 above). When I sign-in I get the No Active Subscriptions page (see post 7 above). However if I immediately go back to the As-Built site, it is working. So still free, just requires sign-in first.

It's an XML file so Excel can open it but it's difficult to use. Typically you want to compare differences across files but also use to restore a botched FORScan session. There are other programs that are better.

It should eventually phone home and update. Worked with a member once and it took about a month. All my FORScan changes are reflected. If yours doesn't eventually update, then you may have a communications issue.

" > Home > "Module Build Data (As-Built)" > "Please log in to access the As-Built service." > "Click Log In button to go to Secure Login Page." > Log In > My Subscriptions - You do not currently have any subscriptions.. " Rinse, repeat.

Maybe I'm missing something? Tips or tricks appreciated. TIA!

I used my plain browser Edge that doesn't have ad or pop-up blockers.
Ford's site is slower than used to be and AsBuilt file expires quickly.
