So, your Ford Charge Station Pro doesn't work?
Is it plugged in? .
Is there a light on it?
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
Have you tried charging your truck somewhere else?
Did you have it professionally installed?
Have you called the installer?
Have you ever used an...
Battery preconditioning in relation to the lightning means the hvb.
If you are leaving for 2 months then you'll want to park the truck at 50% hvb soc and maybe put a maintainer on the 12v batt while you're gone.
I would not leave it plugged in to an evse the whole time unless you needed to...
You already paid for the Ford charger but if you get a smoking deal on something else then go for it.
I don't think the fcsp has much resale value though as a lot of people went a similar route or had an evse already or didn't want to wait for Sunrun.
The one advantage for us Canadians was...
Ya, it's overheating and derating. It could be a bad connection at the wall or dongle but it could be internally overheating and causing the derating. Try warranty first but there are many other options now like amproad, electron, etc.
That is correct, right at the top where it can get salt and junk on it. It's in the wiper path and is heated but I find that it needs a good amount of spraying sometimes.
If everything is good and you find that a quick steadying of the wheel doesn't help then it is possible that the alignment...
It's amazing how such a simple feature can cause problems in other places. It seems that a few 12v issues are just the truck misbehaving with paak or fobs nearby. I'm a little paranoid so I cage up my electronics at night.
The calendar change at new years caused several schedule related problems. My "charge to 100" stopped at midnight and the radio reset itself.
I wasn't at home but my scheduled times worked fine the next day.
Double check that you have connectivity in fordpass and that fordpass settings match...
Because it's an f150. It's not a bold redesign, it's a familiar and comfortable truck.
That's why the frunk is so big and it still looks like an f150.
The next generation of Ford ev pickup will not look the same and will include many incorporated aero design features.
The cybertruck is really excelling at finding ways to be better than the competition. More American parts and the world's best car stereo from an oem. Hot dog.
A 25% charge with preconditioning and departure at - 2degC took 46kwh. 33kwh went into the battery the other 13kwh are line losses, battery heating, preconditioning and cabin heating.
The battery stays warmish when plugged in regardless of charge or precon settings so you will see increased...
Happy new year!!
The system reset itself at midnight. My charge stopped and I had the xm I never use pop up on screen.
Probably won't happen again until Jan 1. 2025 @0000h but I'll keep that in mind for next year.
This isn't just ev's, it's all vehicles. Shops can't keep up. Service appointments have been 3 weeks for at least a year now. Basically it's lack of parts and lack of mechanics. Everyone wants free maintenance, this is what happens.
120v is inefficient and for the lightning in particular, not the best daily solution.
Mainly due to the limited charge speed and that it doesn't precondition the battery on 120v.
With the proliferation of adjustable current 240v evse, any home can handle a 240v upgrade. For example, the Ford...
No, not really. The difference being that the at tires will wear in the center at that higher pressure. Real truck tires (Lt) are usually rated for 60 psi and you increase the pressure as your load increases. The grabbers were designed to run at the higher pressure even though they aren't Lt.
