  1. Does Ford monitor this board?

The system is a joke. Good luck with that.
  2. 30a 120v Charging Reduced to 10a?

Ford knows what you can draw from the truck. Liability is huge for Ford. Also, going higher at 120v makes it less efficient and it can't run the batt heater at 120v either. Cost and weight savings would be a more direct reason. I do wish they would have a 120v batt heater. I don't have 240v...
  3. 40A home charging - Should I do it

Try it with the 50a breaker, it should be perfectly fine. I do a lot of driving and the 60a breaker work well for me, don't need more. Get that checked out, it's not normal at all, you might not even have the hardware set to 80a. Don't bother yet, make it work with what you have and you come...
  4. Seeking Advice: Efficient Tool for Routing EV Charging Cable Under Truck

You could use a drive over cable protector and keep it on that side. Just make sure it's rated for the weight.
  5. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

Could be anything from a small charging glitch (happened once to me on 110v at a new gps location) to a component failure in the drive/software/battery. It's like a check engine light on a normal car, don't know what it means until they do a diagnostic. Hoping it's an easy fix for you!
  6. Where is my Acceleration

I think you just might be used to it now, drive a four banger for a month and then try the truck again.
  7. Towing Capacity Difference Lariat vs Platinum?

Yes, the spec sheets have platinum with less range.
  8. Saw the CyberTruck in the Tesla showroom

I think you'll find that gap closing quickly now. Software might be good but if the vehicle hardware sucks then there's no point.
  9. Volume button replacement?

Looks like you just replace the assembly, you'll have to take the cover off.
  10. Are we losing the EV Revolution?

Oh there was pushback, there will always be pushback when change happens. The fear mongers at the time claimed that using unleaded would lead to your engine dying among other dubious claims. The petro corps complied as they could now charge more for the "special" unleaded fuel. Leaded fuel...
  11. BlueCruise Lane change not working

Yes, that's how it works unless you have speed sign recognition turned fully on and it has speed signs to read. BC 1.0 works great. BC 1.3 is coming soon, there is NO 1.2 for lightnings.
  12. Are we losing the EV Revolution?

Since the alternative is choking to death on our own pollution then no, we aren't losing. Since every god damn article is trying to disparage the revolution then no, we aren't losing, we are pissing off the gas companies and they are upping their attacks to hold onto what little foothold they...
  13. Hail Repair

Checks out. Body shops have been scamming people since the dawn of time. Aluminium bodies have also been around for decades so that's no excuse either.
  14. Low Battery-Metal Prices Slow EVs

I'm not even going to give them the click. Sounds like the same bs that petro corps use to justify raising their fuel prices. Too much oil, not enough oil, oil price high, oil price low, all equals gas price increase. Are batteries too cheap to produce now? I guess the metal markets have...
  15. powertrain malfunction error

Maybe, maybe not, yes, no. You could have a multitude of problems, could just be a sensor, could be software, could be a lot of things. Your Ford ev certified dealer will be able to diagnose.
  16. Oil Undercoat?

My dealer says to not spray it. Their solution is to keep it clean and not let salt build up.
  17. It cost me 18.47 times as much to fuel my old truck. This is AMAZING... :o

That's crazy high but you're still saving!
  18. How much demand for the BuiltRight Dash Mount? (Lariat/Plat)

Slim to zero. Why would I need my phone on the dash? I also wouldn't need anything outside of the already massive 15" display.
  19. Ford caves on EV dealer program following IL loss and will cut charger requirements

"caves". They lost a court decision ffs, that's far from caving. I'm sure Ford will continue to favor their compliant dealers.
  20. Real world experience working the Lightning.

    What a great little camper!
