  1. I keep getting the error message... "Wireless Connection Failed" (Android Auto)

Android auto fails miserably on wireless and drops audio on both connection types. I don't bother with wireless because my Spotify thinks it's offline if I'm connected to the truck WiFi and won't use phone data. The audio dropouts were caused by an update last year and were never really...
  2. I guess…

    Change it to dark mode.
  3. Edmunds Comparison: Lightning vs Cybertruck vs R1T

Great! Another video about the ev truck battle. Imo, the 3 trucks are in totally different classes/markets so comparisons are difficult. What I can tell you is that the f150 lightning will give you way more for your dollar. So what if it is a half second slower in a quarter mile or gets...
  4. F150 2022 Software up date

Have you had the 12v bms replaced?
  5. Remote Parking/park assist?

Thanks! Never knew that. I tried the parallel feature once and it wasn't really useful for me so never touched it again.
  6. Charge port locking?

Only DCfc locks but that's common. Otherwise, no lock on the door or receptacle.
  7. Remote Parking/park assist?

There is no remote park feature. It's in the original owners manual but not in the trucks. Park assist is for parallel parking and allegedly works well but as said above, a little quick.
  8. Drive Mode Not Available

I think if you turn the cruise control on it goes into normal mode.
  9. Traded in MachE for Lightning... my first questions

Ford has a multitiered release program, not everyone gets them all at once. The 12v bms is a monitor attached to the 12v battery that had probls and is being replaced. Check out the customer satisfaction programs section. Enjoy the ride!
  10. Traded in MachE for Lightning... my first questions

There have only been a few reports of updates causing problems. Imo, the benefits far outweigh the risk. Especially right now with Tesla compatibility and newcruise 1.whatever coming out. The main cause of update issues was the 12v bms. That's being fixed now. Ford gathers data from the...
  11. Stolen and Barbecued Lightning

I think it turned out to be crackheads, normal people don't care at all.
  12. Official: 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona (EV + ICE), Scat Pack, Daytona R/T Revealed! 670 Horsepower / 0-60mph in 3.3 Secs

I don't know if Dodge charger fanboys are going to go for an ev drivetrain. As long as they can simulate the experience of your diff exploding they might be okay.
  13. Failed (OTA) Update bricked my 2023 F150L

They might not be as modern as you think, it would depend on what you work on.
  14. Failed (OTA) Update bricked my 2023 F150L

Unfortunately road vehicles aren't designed with the redundancy of aircraft components. On the other hand, the software in modern road vehicles run on much newer systems than that of aircraft. Aircraft are also a heck of a lot more expensive to fix when a module does fail.
  15. Rivian R2 Price & Specs Leaked: $47500, 0-60 3 Sec, 330 Miles Range

"leaked" "specs" It's neither lol. Key words to look out for, "starting at", "up to" Ford should just buy them up and use it as "T3"
  16. Use FCSP or other for home charging

Ya, they were trying the DC adapter which obviously doesn't work. There are a few who made ac adapters and had success. It won't be a problem going forward. Worse case, change the cable.
  17. Use FCSP or other for home charging

There aren't really any ready made adapters yet. However, there are options. You could modify one like some have had on here or change the cable end completely. The only advantages of the fcsp are 1)80a capacity, 2)the ability to install in almost any panel and 3)using the HIS. By the time I...
  18. Rotary shifter possible

    Maybe one of these?
  19. Still haven't received software update for Tesla Superchargers

Don't worry, if I get it and you haven't then you'll know there's a problem. I'm pretty sure my truck is the very last one to get them.
  20. Use FCSP or other for home charging

Any sources for that? I like the fcsp, it came with the truck so no added cost. I get zero subsidies so I'm not going to spend more on a new charger. Once it dies I'll replace it. 48a is just fine, that's what my fcsp is set to and it would be replaced with another 48a unit of whatever...
