Quite a few internet searches later I have still failed to find a vinyl wrap product that is a very close match to Oxford white.
My Google fu is as good as my ability to find the ketchup in the fridge, so if anyone can find thread or knows of a vinyl that matches I would love to hear it.
This was one of my biggest frustrations with the majority of FORSCAN tutorials and videos out there, inclyding livinigitup's own tutorials. When you just get stated most changes, instructions, and videos just say to change value X to value Y.
In truth EVERY change should be evaluated and you...
Having owned 24 different vehicles, and having an early reservation on the Cybertruck, I can tell you that I would only be MORE excited about my upcoming purchase of the Lightning.
I do love my Pro ER with the right options. A ton of things I'm really happy with, like the rubber floor and the...
I never really understood the goals Ram was going for here. If you have a hybrid you don't need massive battery range, that's the point of the hybrid. 100 miles or so is all you need on the battery, that will cover 95% of most of the drives people make.
Frankly, this sounds like a good move
In the lightning pushing the brake pedal does not immediately engage the mechanical brakes, instead the electric motors slow the truck through regenerative braking, or regen. Sport, tow haul, and 1pd drive just varying how much regen is automatically performed.
In the end it is the same. The...
To each their own. Auto 1 is my preferred setting and it works fine for me. The fan kicks on initially and then slows down, I'm comfortable and I don't hear the fan. I'll hit the button on occasion for various reasons, then ending up driving like that for days or weeks because I didn't realize...
And on the dash too, right?
I thought there was a PnC setting in the display...although it seems mute since you can't seem to do anything regardless of where the toggle switch is.
Well, yeah, you CAN cause the mechanical brakes to engage. However the amount of braking you need to apply is FAR FAR above and beyond what Sport mode provides.
So yes, you can cause the mechanical brakes to engage, but that is because you are trying to slow faster than any mode and any regen...
I expect you like the feeling of the truck slowing a bit more aggressivly.
Fwiw, know that using the brake pedal uses regen to slow the truck and you will always get as much regen as the truck can make regardless of mode and/or using the brake pedal
Had a 40 minute highway drive so tracked heater usage again.
I used some portion of the drive on Auto 3, and some portion on Auto 1, switching at the halfway point. Care to guess which section is which?
I think we can see that which Auto setting you choose doesn't matter. Which makes sense...
Can't you use one of those gas strut kits to give it a little more lift? Might have to change the strut itself out on one of those kits that prevents the tailgate from banging down, but that's pretty simple.
Thats....good news...I guess...
Kidding aside, I can see how since you cannot enable PnC that having it would would be appreciated. However it's a bit concerning that having it OFF does not actually turn it off.
The point of Plug and Charge IS using the trucks billing method, that is what it is. Without plug and charge there would not be any billing method other than the Tesla app. There is no way for Tesla to bill through Ford other than Plug and Charge.
Point being, if he could disable Plug and...
We have phone storage at the exits of the building, but only the very exit, or about halfway between my office and where I park.
In truth, I could have my phone at the same place a fob would work. However aside from the fumbling with getting a phone started (needs to be turned off in storage)...
Any aware as to if the FordPass app has an event that can be triggered to send the remote start command? I'm thinking that if so an application such as Tasker could trigger off an email or other simple trigger.
I am considering the above options however $65 a year, or putting my login...
Before anyone says "the app", I cannot use my phone where I work.
Its a balmy 1F outside today and it would be great to start the truck before I walk out of the building. I have yet to find a desktop site I can initiate a remote start, or even a FOB option to at least warm it up on my walk...
I'm interested to see if that is true. That said, not sure if the truck will sit long enough today to find out. That, and, if I'm being honest, I don't really feel like parking it outside overnight just for you all...lol
