At this point I'm actually relying on everyone reporting in when a substantial change occurs.

Things that would help:

• All members stick to their own build week for reports, others can read and send reactions (likes) or congrat's when deliveries occur, otherwise remain silent unless you would like to help a newbie with researching techniques.
  
  
• All members can report when a substantial change occurs in their build week thread. (new action dates In Production, Built, Shipped Preparing for Delivery)
  
  
• No comments need for negative reports that's frustrating for everyone to see the negatives and worse so when folks are cross posting negative data or observations outside their own thread.
  
  
• Doing the above will streamline the content of useful data, I'd recommend, you monitor a couple of the weeks preceding your build week to get a feel / sense for what's coming down the pike for your build.

10/23 build week members, make sure you pull a PDF copy of your window sticker Wednesday evening [10/11], it will show the original sequence numbers, while the Thursday morning version will show changes to the values if you have a spray in bed liner option.

I'm curious what the total gross volume will be, below is an example of build week 10/9 where 1767 is the gross production volume.

Take note this trucks blend day on 10/12 will probably not see actual production until around 10/19, hopefully the factory will be fully caught up with the back log by the time your week kicks off!!

Sounds like no Lightning scheduling is happening this week, though that could be assignments for later weeks, instead of scheduling to the day for this week, has anyone been previously scheduled to build week 10/23? You might see a push back to the 30th or later into November.

I’m following a build scheduled for this week per the blend date (10/29) and vehicleordertracking. What do you make of the video above and the lack of responses in the 10/30 thread?

Could you share the VIN with me in a PM, I'll keep it discreet if you prefer, but I'd like to glean information from the window sticker to adjust my production stat's.

As far as what Tim said in the video, it could just be they were not selecting / assigning VIN's to the WEEK level at that time.

IMHO, the factory is still way behind planned production, lag is now around 11+ days they need additional light scheduling to catch up, worse so now that they laid off ~700 folks from the late shift.

Thank you for sharing, this brings new light to the situation, wondering if all the builds are stock orders and fleet orders, it appears forum participation is waning at the juncture, but if others happen along to plan acquiring dealer spec orders, chime in!!!!

I did the order over the phone, the guy made it seem like the car was already being built and I would get it first week of november. By the looks of this data I'll be lucky to get it by thanksgiving.

When a window sticker is generated, it starts the long game process of a build which is kitting the parts that will eventually be making their way to the main production line, so the sales guys is partly correct, but your trucks are not going to come together as a rolling assembly until blend day.

Looks like you might be a ~ Thursday build based on @solidorange 's truck which is scheduled for blend on Sunday the 29th, but likely not to happen until the following week due to the back log

I am hoping that the factory will be back on track soon, if they actually had no work schedule for 10/16 week.

This is a truck from the 10/2 build week for blend on 10/8 which didn't happen until 10/19!
Still a 11 day lag,

But if we eliminate 7 days, then it's now only a 4 day lag while start working on the 10/9 build week this weekend, note they only are building 1767 for that week.

Monitor the discussions in the 10/2 & 10/9 build weeks to get an idea of when you guys will kick off.

Just a reminder to everyone with blends dates 10/23 to 10/29, you're not going to see any activity this week, the factory should be running the 10/9 build week at this point, focus will be with them searching for service codes and tear tags

Are weeks with no scheduled builds used to refit the line, or are they used to play catch up? If so, the line should be back on schedule after this week, as there don't appear to be trucks scheduled for 10/30 either...
