I got this rather disenchanting email over the weekend. Sounds like there was an issue with the truck and it going back in for repairs or something. I was getting hot and cold feet in cycles, but getting here after Dec 31st is an absolute deal breaker. Oh well...it was a dreamy and exciting time, but hope fades. Next dream is CyberTruck 2026!

If you are referring to the “final inspections” part, that is standard language in the built email. Hopefully ford can beat their estimate!

I received the shipped email on 12/7/22 and have been tracking the railcar my Lightning is on as it makes it's way south. Sitting just south of Atlanta as of 3am this morning. @Wsl346, thanks again for spending the time to track all these deliveries!

nice your ahead of me, mine passed though Tennessee this morning on its way to Orlando (Taft) with an ETA to that rail stop on Friday 12/16

I just think it's neat that we're paying $1800 for a transit service that moves our trucks on average <5mph over the course of their journeys from factory to dealership.

Mine averaged 1.6 mph between the factory and Taft, Florida (Orlando's rail yard). Since then it's averaged 0.2 mph. This is an underwhelming pace for the price, for sure.

My truck arrived on 12/2. After a lot of thought about it I ended up passing on purchasing the truck. Living in a cold weather environment with a commute that has a 2,500ft elevation change and 75+ mph speeds my effective range just wasn't going to make sense from a value perspective. My dealer did commit to sell at MSRP and that they would do so for a new buyer so if anyone is interested here is the listing:
