I just got an update on the US tracker - it now shows what the CA tracker did earlier today. It now shows the In Production of 6/2. Seems maybe they are getting some faster updates into the system here. Hoping for that next update soon.

Anyone know what this button is for? The one with the N and what looks like a clock.

Temporary neutral or Neutral hold button. Used for car washes when you need to get out of the vehicle and have it move. p 228 of the manual.

So while we kill a few weeks until these trucks ship, what are we driving?

I'll go first - sold the wife's car so she usurped my Model S, which leaves me the choice of a 2010 Prius, a 2001 4Runner, or a 1979 F150, pretty easy choice these days...

Sold my 19 Suburban at the end of January. Driving my 18 V90 wagon. No plans to sell her — a true unicorn.

Driving my 2019 Bolt, mostly. 2012 Flex and 2009 Boxster will be going on the market soon. I’m holding the 2009 911 to partner with the Lightning (two 4 second cars! :)). I’ll sell the Bolt once i get the Lightning.

For me my current drive- it is really one of three choices. Ive got my wife's 2017 Volt which gets about 43 miles on electric. I use this whenever I can since gas is so expensive. Second Ive got my 2015 accord Hybrid which gets about 42mg day in and day out -this is what I drive the most when I cant get my wife's car. 3rd Ive got my F350 that i use a lot but cant stand to drive at 13pmg and I cant stand to park since it is a crew cab 8' bed. When i get the lightening I might entertain selling the accord. I dont want to move too quick because im not sure how much I will like the lightening as a daily driver. The accord is almost fully depreciated so I plan to keep it for some months to see how the whole thing feels once the honeymoon is over with the F150. I need to keep the F350 as it fits my camper and is well suited for long trips in Mexico.

All of the above is first world problems. Oh my gosh if there is no bread, why cant thy just eat cake?! :)

So I ordered a ~$80K lariat. I'm also on list for an ~$80K rivian due in the next few months. I kind of wished I would have gone with a super basic lightening as my "work truck" then also bought the Rivian as my (wife's) fancy truck that we don't use so much for work but keep clean and nice for daily driving and special occasions. I think that would have been a great combo.

My wife doesn't want a truck but I think once she sat in the rivian and drove it- she would be a convert. steve

Currently driving a 2018 Model 3. Love the car, I was a convert the day of the unveiling. Always been a pickup guy though so hoping the Lightning scratches all of the itches.

The really good news is that I've got offers from Carvana and Driveway that are both about $8K more for the car than I would have gotten out of it a year ago. Gas prices just keep driving it up. My Ford dealership has been buying them at auction and selling, so I'm hoping they will beat my current offer or at least match. Trading it to them will save me about $3K in taxes. TX is one of those states that you only pay taxes on the difference after trade in.

The quote from my dealership for my 2019 Sierra Denali is for the price I paid for it three years ago. Just about a grand under what Driveway has offered, but the $3k in tax savings will be worth it. 2019 with 12,200 miles.
