We're all in the same boat...... Blend to In production is improving but still at around 8 days lag next week if not sooner many of you if not all will have modules and an in production date.

first edition, limited edition, during a chip shortage, supply chain and trucking crisis. you should probably get your expectations in check
We were in a shortage a year prior to the launch. Let alone almost another year until production began after that.

I have pretty on par expectations with a product that keeps getting delayed only to be more expensive and have less features than what I reserved and even ordered.

That feels a bit unfair to me - you're entitled to your opinion, of course.

Ford has been pretty clear about most of the process - they were only planning to make 20,000 this year, and would be at a run rate of 150,000 by 2023, and they had 200,000 reservations. They said that shipping would start mid-2022, and that they'd be model-year 2022, which implied that they would wrap up those 20,000 by October.

There were some surprises - I didn't expect their ZEV focus to be as strong as it was (which sucks for me, living in a non-ZEV state). I didn't expect dealers to get as much influence in the prioritization process as they did receive. I made a (bad) assumption that Ford would generally follow reservation time stamp for orders, with my experience telling me that production would primarily align with logistics (model / options / region). With that said, I was never promised that my reservation would turn into a delivery by a specific time.

I received no promises as to when I would receive the truck. I'm anxiously awaiting it, and it can't get here soon enough - but I don't think I got cheated at all.

Overall delivery target is on course.

My personal production date has been delayed 3 times.

I finally get a blend date that was 3 days ago and it still nothing.

My overall cost went up and my overall features went down. Sorry, but that’s bs any way you slice it. Now if I can verify park assist is still there maybe it wouldn’t sting so bad but haven’t seen that yet. And not one reviewer demonstrated it and that would be something highlighted imo

Can ignore him.

He is seemingly irate that he doesn't have accent lights in every nook and cranny.

Not irate just not a cuck that likes to quietly have things taken away while the cost increase.
Small thing? Sure. But something I enjoyed about it as others on the ICE forums have the same sentiment, so much so someone makes a harness to out it back in. And to take the light out of the front bin where the wireless charging is and glove box? That was just dumb. Cup holder rings I can forgive as it’s more aesthetic but the others are functional.

maybe a little more bitter that I had to even fight to get the lightning when fords response was “jUsT rEseRVe AnoThEr oNe.” My only saving grace was TXDMV

Hate to break it to you but everything is going to be more expensive, your dollar won't go as far, and supply chain issues will be around for another few years.

For a highly educated doctorate degree individual, you don't seem to have a grasp of the world at hand....

Better for you to drop the Lightning and get a Rivian or Tesla or GM WT EV.

I don't get it - none of the dates you're mentioning were promise dates, and Ford is trying to keep you up to date with where they are projecting things go. Blend dates are technical, behind-the-scenes dates that Ford doesn't even publish to the customer and aren't fully guaranteed. Like you, my production date was delayed a few times and pulled back up once -- but I was never promised a specific production date, much less even a '22 MY truck. When you paid $100 to reserve, you weren't given a time frame, just that they started delivery mid-2022.

You say earlier that the cost went up, although no cost information was published - unless you're complaining that Pro was only available to the first 2 waves, and in that case you had the ability to push to MY2023 to get your Pro trim. I haven't seen Ford take anything away after orderability opened up... So I guess I don't understand what Ford took away from you after committing to deliver it to you?

...or was it just assumption based on the ICE models?

I didn't get a promised price until I placed the order - and I don't think anything was taken from me after that point... So color me confused here. I'm not a shill for Ford nor am I defending them at any cost -- if they had said "we guarantee you'll have your truck by July 1 if you order today", then I'd be pissed off, but I wasn't given anything close to that.

It's really simple. I ordered on 2/3 and msrp was 79.9k, when my window sticker generated a few weeks ago it's now over $80.1k. My cost went up after I secured my order. When I ordered On 2/3 all features were available and still to this day they advertise everything and yet they removed half the ambient lightning and no verification park assist stayed when it was removed from the ICE F150 and Mach E.

I don't know what your obsession is with reservation date data but i'm using what i ordered and is on the order sheet vs what I'll receive.

And "scheduled for production week of 6/13" with a hard blend date of 6/18 isn't a promised date? Then why even have dates at all

But I guess I can thank ford for creating the shortened supply long enough if I sell it I'll come out well ahead.

If you have documentation that ambient lighting in cupholders was a feature and you don't have it now, you probably have grounds for order cancelation and a refund of your deposit.

Ford has a system that shows them the price of the truck as ordered, and it's well-known that the sticker generation is based on prices today. Your dealer can look up what the order cost was at the time.

I don't know what your obsession is with reservation date data but i'm using what i ordered and is on the order sheet vs what I'll receive.
Help me - can you show me what it said you were getting and what no longer you're getting? I have read you complaints about cup holder ambient lightning -- but I don't recall ever seeing that promised.

There is a difference between contracted & committed promise dates and informational updates.

They literally still advertise it today. And I've confirmed with multiple deliveries it's missing out of every "premium" spot mentioned.
