Rough numbers coming from Maine weather and driving:

Stock - 22" Platinum rims and General Grabber HTS tires @ 275 50 22

Each wheel (rim and tire) weighs 87Lbs.
At 42PSI, 70 Degrees, 80% 70mph highway, 20% 40mph +/- rural = 2.1 m/kWh

Aftermarket:

18" Granite Alloy rims, 275 70 18 BF Goodrich KO3s. They poke just a little. No rubbing, almost same diameter as factory, just a 1/4" taller and 1/2" wider.

Each wheel (rim and tire) weighs 92Lbs.
At 42PSI, 70 Degrees, 80% 70mph highway, 20% 40mph +/- rural = 1.7 m/kWh
At 42PSI, 47 Degrees, 80% 70mph highway, 20% 40mph +/- rural = 1.6 m/kWh

General notes:

With aftermarket setup, truck handled fine, little more spongy than stock. Highway noise was noticeably louder, but not bad overall.

I've since gone back to stock for the summer for better handling / feel / noise / range for summer highway adventures.

I bumped my K02 tires to 52psi and my range increased quite a bit and took it to American tire after 10,000 miles and the wear was 100% even across the board.

I was planning the same: two sets of tires, the stock set for summer, and a more aggressive set for winter. Just take the range hit as a cost for traction in snow.

I'm on 35" 12.5 r18 K02 + level kit and do 1.6 miles/kwh @ 70mph. I'm averaging 2 miles/kwh since ownership because my daily commute is 50% hwy 50% city and that hwy stretch is 65 limit.

I have KO2 tires at 40psi right now. What was the efficiency increase you saw going to 52? Isn’t that pretty high? How much wear did you se after 10k miles?
