Looking for some insight from those who were comparing these trims and what you plan on ordering/ordered? This is how I would order them.

311A with 9.6 Pro Power and tailgate step. $56k

312A nothing added. $64k

Thanks

Went for 312A XLT to get the Co-pilot Assist 2.0 for adaptive cruise control. 10 way seats for driver & passenger were a plus for wife & friends with poor backs. Too bad options could not be picked more individually. Vinyl floors instead of carpet would be fine.

312A SR with Tow Tech and Max Tow for me. I don't want Lariat because I don't do leather and I prefer the 12" screen with manual HVAC controls.

Do you know more about how co-pilot assist differs from blue cruise?

That's the only feature I wanted from 312, so i couldn't justify the extra costs.

Plus, I'm not traveling more than 50 miles in one sitting with the truck often, so I'll survive manually driving like a peon.

Still want it though :), if ford sold it to me for 1k I'd totally do it just for that.

Co pilot gives you adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and all the safety features (I may also have lane centering, I am not sure)

Blue Cruise let's you go hands free on the highway with the lane centering and adaptive cruise turned on.

Lane keeping = vehicle will correct if you go over the lines.

Lane centering = vehicle will automatically hold the center of the lane (or close).

That last part about including lane centering is the part I wasn't sure of either. ie its it the same assist tech just with the eye monitoring instead of requiring hand on steering wheel
