4.1.3 Update turned off OPD!

Got in the truck and noticed the update. Drove out to the county road and let off the throttle for first corner and nearly ditched/rolled it due to speed! Took me to the next corner to figure out OPD had been turned off, assumed by the update as it was the only thing to happen since the last use.

This is a HUGE mistake to make in an update, especially without notice. I now cover the brake pedal as I have lost confidence in OPD.

Anyone else notice this?

I can tell the first second I push the accelerator if I'm in one pedal mode.

No, but the dealer turned mine off during my last visit for service….almost forgot where to turn it back on………

There’s a symbol on the dash that shows if 1PD is on. If that’s on and the vehicle isn’t responding like it’s in 1PD then I’d lose confidence. If it turns off or something while the vehicle is off… I guess check for the “dummy light” before you shift? Sorry you had that experience but these are computers on wheels now, expect the unexpected.

Yup - same thing happened to me with that update, and on a few of the Mach-e ones. Always recheck you settings after an update.

I don't recall this happening to my Lightning when I received 4.1.3.

HA! I looked forward to not having to worry about a CEL with an EV, and now I need to review feature status before driving...

I will test it by letting off early in first turn, then drive like it is on after. Really did not think I would get used to OPD, but have.
