I mostly planned it out ahead rather than using Ford's nav or ABRP. I tried to plan it so I would arrive with 10%-20% and then charge to 70%-80%. I hit any Ionna locations that were along the way, then filled in the gaps with Tesla Superchargers. In the few spots that weren't covered by either of those I used EVgo or EA. When I got to California I used Apple maps and let it plan the Supercharger stops.
Do you like there Apple Maps for planning better?

It does a decent job. Works well with Apple Carplay. It's fairly accurate at predicting state of charge at your destination.

I did 5075 miles from western NC to LA and back along the southwestern part of Route 66 in March. Took me 13 days, had my son with me for the west to east part of 66. Did the Chicago to Amarillo part with him last year. Fun trips, great memories and no charging or truck issues.
Forgot to mention that I've got 83000 miles on the truck and other than the tail light bar issue, no problems. I love my truck.
