Basically if you live in a COLD environment that gets a lot of snow and ice you can't go wrong with the PowerStep XTreme. These feature dual motors on each side. If you want to save money and don't have concerns with snow/ice build up then the classic Powersteps are for you (you can also do the PowerStep Smart Series which add-on an app-based control in case you ever want to deploy them from a phone).
