Andriod Auto with Samsung, Multible Annoying Notification Chimes

Anyone getting multible Text Messenger Chimes from one text message in Andriod Auto? I have the notification turned off in Andriod Auto but the chimes come in like crazy on a group message, I think every time someone reads, responds etc...
Can't turn it off.

On phone:
Settings>Connected Devices>Android Auto
I also turned off Notification for Android Auto which has cut down on the amount.

Settings,
Connections,
scroll to the bottom for "Looking for Something Else"
see Android Auto,
then dig into the various setting options.

I turned off Play Conversation Chime and it stopped

Also note, some of the basic bluetooth settings need to be tweaked from Sync screen, pull up your device then get to the basic phone functions.

I've tried every suggestion on here for six months, nothing stopped the thousand chimes I get when I drive. Most of the time I turn off my phone to save my sanity.

search Andriod on your phone, it will come up but that didn't help notifications are turned off.

Check out the specific app settings on your phone, you can set the less important ones to be delivered silently, leave the visual indicator on so you can review for missing events later on.

I've only ever gotten a single chime and pop up notification on the screen. I'll dig into my settings to see how I have it setup later this afternoon.

Set your email notifications to silent. To me, those are the most annoying ones. This is done in the email settings of the phone.

...or if you like your friends, disabled notifications in annoying group threads.
