Beach day fun. Put up a “tent” made for hatch back/SUV type vehicles. Worked great using frunk hood! Great place to watch the kiddos play in water while sitting in front of truck.

didn’t do much sand driving/stuck to hard packed sand, little bit of slip while in off-road mode when I got into some thicker sand but didn’t air down tires so probably be ok if we did. Brought CO2 tank and hoses but didn’t really need it today. Still on stock grabber tires but when I replace will get something with a little more bite. Any tire suggestions, I’m at about 35k miles so probably new tires by next spring!

thanks!

I really like the falken wildpeaks I bought used for $400, but I think I'll go with the LT version next.

Any noticeable range loss? Truck is daily driver with maybe 2-4 snow trips and annual beach trip. Most of my “offroad” is fire roads that a Subaru could manage lol

Nice, except with the frunk open and all my business exposed, it would be a pain in the "arse" trying to get the sand out of all those precious cracks. A post beach trauma I always struggle with.

Add a RinseKit to the frunk and you’ll be golden for cleaning off the sand when you are done. Been a game changer for me.

No, I’m not affiliated with the company at all.

been to beach daily as well as sunsets each night. Kids have brought so much sand into truck I’m just thinking of hitting it with leaf blower when we get home!

Late to the party but you should submit this to the Ford comms team. They love seeing (and sharing) customer use cases. This one is pretty neat!
