I went down today and picked up an unfrozen turkey breast to cook tomorrow. I'm on my own since my wife is out west in Washington with our new granddaughter. So I was sitting here thinking about whether to cook it in the oven or the instant pot and then this crazy idea came to mind making me wonder if anyone was using their lightning to power their instant pot to cook their turkey? And if so who is the first one?

My neighbors probably already think I'm crazy for buying a Lightning and if they saw an instant pot sitting in back of the bed out in the driveway tomorrow then they might have the guys in white jackets come haul me off so just call me crazy enough for coming up with the idea but not crazy enough to follow through.

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving with their family. And hope the Chiefs win too.

Lame, very lame.

Now, what would not be lame is putting it in the Instapot, and then driving while it cooked....

I would probably InstaPot it. You can’t beat the convenience and quality cooking of the InstaPot.

But that’s just me. You do you.

Screw what other people think, do what you want, it's your property.

I'm not going to do it. Too cold out there anyway. Rick has an idea for those traveling to visit family, just load up the instant pots, crock pots, etc and do the cooking while driving. That I would do.

We do programs where we might be serving something from a crock pot. The truck will be handy for that. Have to look later or someone here will say if the frunk has plugins. Been needing a way to hook up an outdoor PA system.

Provided one doesn't get in a fender bender or have to perform unusual maneuvers on the way. What a mess otherwise.

Nope, you totally misunderstood. I didn't mean to cook it on the way, and then say to everyone at Thanksgiving "we cooked it on the way here in the truck" with them imagining (see below).

I meant putting in the Instapot, and driving around and at every stoplight / stop sign rolling down your window and telling all the other drivers "hey, I'm cooking a turkey while I drive".
