Just charged up to 100% to prep for a road-trip to Maine, and was surprised to see 330 miles reading as estimate for range. (At delivery last month the dealer had it at 100% and it read 306 miles. )
Does Ford tweak the battery range through over the air updates, if they’ve found some improvement possible?
Does the 320 EPA range factor into what the truck reads at all? (Is “full” set to 320 - doesn’t appear so).
Or does the truck just take a guess at range based on its own algorithm of sorts.
I saw that the 2023 SR has gotten a little boost to their range, which I assume isn’t through a battery hardware change, but a tweak somewhere else.
This is the first time since taking delivery that I’ve gone over 90% on battery charging. Just thinking I’ll need every mile today to get to my destination in Maine……
