Auto Headlight delay ( auto on )

Hello everyone,

I recently got my 2025 F-150 Lighting. Last night I did my first mod, the Matrix aka Glare Free headlights. Super cool, I love it.

My question is, and this is after I’ve searched multiple threads and spreadsheets, how or where do I code the headlights to come on instantly when going under overpasses, garage parking and tunnels. I looked at several pages and went into Forscan and I can’t seem to find the specific place and coding ( value ) to do this.

The 726-45-01 according to a spreadsheet I saw is where I can configure that, but other places says it is a different module.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I apologize if this topic has been previously touched.

In this regard our trucks are the same as an ICE F150. You might try searching/ posting on the F150gen14 forum. Gazillion more trucks and users. They are the ones who figured out glare free in the first place. Duplicate your account here:

Locations can vary based on model and even year. Did a little tinkering and this may be what you want. Changing the value from 0 to 5 went from the default 15 seconds to near instantaneous on my 2023 when I blocked the sensor. Appears to be the same on the 24/25 sheet

Nice work! Do you think this is something I should add to my Forscan mods thread? Trying to understand the use case. Is this a niche use or did you find it better than the default? What did the other values 1-4 do?

I don't think its related to high beam/low beam/ matrix.
I think it is the delay between day/night settings, i.e., when the headlights come on in Auto mode. And really only needed like OP says - going into a tunnel or a dark parking garage when the transition happens suddenly.

I have noticed when driving at dusk in stop and go traffic that my headlights come on and go off as I drive under overpasses. But at least it has a delay. My fear is that this setting, when set to 0 seconds, could turn the headlights on and off very quickly and could annoy others.

No, this is only for how fast or delayed your headlights come on when going under large overpasses, parking garages or tunnels. It does not affect the matrix headlights.

yeah I only tried 5. Read somewhere (think maybe the maverick forum) that someone tried and only 5 made a difference but may be different on the lightning. Still kind of odd that it controls the timing as the options don't really tell you what it's doing and didn't see anything in easy mode.

Yes, I saw that maverick forum as well. Funny thing is that I’ve noticed some Edge and Rangers from factory with this quick auto on headlights.
