In my 2024 (so it has a heat pump) the back seat warms mostly from the floor vents in auto. So make sure nothing is blocking those like a floor mat, a coat, a pair of shoes, a football...
I will check that because I have Weathertech floor mats with a raised edge.

I think the vent extenders will make a big difference. With the way they are currently situated any hot air that comes out gets shot directly under the rear seat.
This is a good point. I hadn't considered this because my truck has under seat storage which mitigates the problem.

Also you can just manually close the front vents for the driver/passenger. Force the air out the rear vents.
This doesn't really work when you want to warm up the back seat. In general, heat comes out the floor vents and cool air comes out the vents on the dash.

I too have the same back seat not warming situation - will try the 3d printed extensions. Anyone figure out the defogging? I would agree with some others that this seems to be a weak point, at least with the 2024 Flash/heat pump models-

I have some that are designed to spread the air out and direct it upward to alleviate this issue.

I need to get mine to market...
I thought about designing one too but the Thingiverse extender linked in this thread angles it upwards at the end. It's not just a straight back duct. Fanning it out some might be nice to have though.

THIS ^^

I also have WeatherTech mats and got a set of the long vent extenders. The stock rear seat floor vents blow underneath the raised edge of the WeatherTech mats. I tried a set of short extenders but they weren't long enough. Got a set of long extenders and they work great, they fit over the top of the mat edge.

Check all of your favorite online stores (Amazon, eBay, Etsy ...) and search "F150 rear vent extender". It's not just a Lightning issue. Your search will likely auto complete at "F150 v" since it's a common issue on the most popular vehicle in the USA.
