This is a good point. I hadn't considered this because my truck has under seat storage which mitigates the problem.I think the vent extenders will make a big difference. With the way they are currently situated any hot air that comes out gets shot directly under the rear seat.
This doesn't really work when you want to warm up the back seat. In general, heat comes out the floor vents and cool air comes out the vents on the dash.Also you can just manually close the front vents for the driver/passenger. Force the air out the rear vents.
